Building upon success in 2017, it has been another industrious week for the Chinese transport sector. In January, in a move to kickstart the progress of China’s ambitious One Belt-One Road strategy, the country opened the first Britain to China freight train. The project, which covers over 1,200 km, connects China and 15 European cities, with London the latest destination in the ever- expanding network.
